headless portrait
These are two of my roommates. The top picture shows my friend who is a singer with some of her sheet music. She also loves being a girl and being young so i figured the ballet flats helped to show this aspect of her character. The second photo is of my friend who could fit the stereotypical look of a new England girl (based off her wardrobe). Here she is wearing a high school sweatshirt from her town, a Nantucket hat and talking about something "wicked" cool.
shutter speed round 2
The blurred image was shot on manual, 1/8 because any lower let in too much light. The other shots were on 1/250. The one blurred motion image is the only one i uploaded because they all turned out the same and i did not have a tripod to keep the shutter open for any longer or to make it steady enough.

the unseen II
I had somewhat of a difficult time thinking of objects that are "unseen" so these are a little obscure & unfortunately the best i could come up with.
1; hands.
2; God. It obviously is not a picture of him, but a cross is something that symbolizes Jesus. God is the most important aspect of life, since he creates it, and yet he has never been seen before.
3; the inside of a toaster. I wanted to capture the inner workings of an appliance because it is something that is truly only noticed for it's outcome.
4; a dream catcher which represents dreams because although they can be so vivid in our minds they usually do not make enough sense or we forget them before we can explain them to others.

the unseen
1; electricity. We all use power every day, especially to charge out computer, cell phone, or turn on the lights. Yet, i have never really taken the time to appreciate this important aspect of my life.
2; laptop keys. I spend most of my free time on the computer but i never took the time to think about thekeys or the importance they have to getting thoughts across.
